Calculate the expected value of any casino bonus before you commit. Know whether to take it or walk away in seconds.
Casino deposit bonuses look generous on the surface, but wagering requirements eat into the value. This calculator tells you the real expected value of any bonus offer by factoring in the bonus amount, the wagering multiplier, and the house edge of the game you plan to play. If the EV is positive, you profit on average. If it's negative, you leave it on the table.
How it works: A $200 bonus with a 20x wagering requirement means you must wager $4,000 total before you can withdraw. Every dollar wagered loses a fraction to the house edge. If the total expected loss is less than the bonus amount, the offer has positive expected value and is worth taking.
Game selection matters. Blackjack (0.5% edge) and video poker (1% edge) chew through wagering requirements far more efficiently than slots (4% edge). Always check the bonus terms — some casinos restrict which games count toward the requirement or weight them differently.
