Pickem: its card buyback uses market value, not the pack purchase price
Pickem’s August 14, 2026 launch email told our account that Ripping Packs could deliver a PSA-graded trading card, with options to sell it back or request shipment. It offered a free first pack and a buyback promotion for a first pack purchase up to $100.
The crucial wording was the basis of that buyback: full fair market value of the card. The email did not promise that the card’s market value would equal the pack price. Calling that a guaranteed refund of the purchase would overstate what the message says. We did not open a pack, sell a card or request shipment.
A first-purchase SC offer is a different promotion
A July 29 email advertised 250,000 GC plus 25 SC for $9.99, compared with a displayed $25 reference price. The subject called the SC free, while the body clearly tied the allocation to a first purchase. It was not an unconditional 25-SC signup award.
On September 8, the homepage separately advertised 50,000 GC plus 1 SC at signup and an up-to-75-SC first-purchase promotion. It also distinguished Rips-only, casino-only and combined availability. A single headline state count should not be assumed to apply identically to both products.
Casino prize rules do not establish card-shipping performance
The sweepstakes rules cap a single prize request at $2,500 and allow payment processing to take up to 30 days in some circumstances. Larger or verification-sensitive cases may take longer. These conditions address sweepstakes prize redemption; they are not evidence of when a physical trading card ships.
