The ToS is largely clear and upfront about key rules (no purchase necessary, $100 minimum redemption, play-through requirement, and arbitration/class-action waiver). However, the operator reserves the right to increase play-through up to 10x (clause 6.5) and to limit redemptions to $5,000/day and $50,000/month (clause 8.6), which are moderately buried caveats. The class-action waiver and arbitration clause are prominently disclosed but still present, preventing a top score.

Multiple reports indicate no response or slow response from customer service. A Reddit user mentions a $100 withdrawal pending with no resolution, and a Facebook user says 'no response from customer service when you do have and issue like this.' The BBB complaint states they filed complaints with BBB, FTC, and IC3 with no response. Support email is provided but response times are poor.

The Money Factory: its closure notice gives no payment date
The Money Factory closure notice, inspected September 8, 2026, says operations permanently ended on August 9. It says new registrations, purchases, and gameplay are no longer accepted.
Preserved requests are not confirmed payments
The operator says accounts, balances, and pending redemption requests have been recorded and preserved. It tells players with pending requests that no action is needed because those records are on file, but gives no payment date or commitment that every pending amount will be paid.
The notice provides playershutdown@themoneyfactory.com for questions and account-record requests. We have not used that channel or verified a post-closure payment.
Earlier inactivity emails were account-specific
Our February 1 and February 4 emails both said the account had been inactive for 55 days and would close without a login within five days. Those were inactivity warnings, not announcements that the entire company was closing. Their repeated countdown does not establish an actual account-closure date, and should not be substituted for the August date in the current public notice.
