Michigan questions
Are sweepstakes casinos legal in Michigan?
Regulators are actively pursuing operators here. Authority: Lawful Internet Gaming Act, 2019 PA 152 — MCL 432.304(1), 432.305(2), 432.313(1)(a) & (2).
Can I still play free Gold Coin (GC) games in Michigan?
Michigan's action targets the dual-currency model: the Sweeps Coin (SC) side that can be redeemed for cash prizes. Free Gold Coin (GC) entertainment play, with no prize redemption, is generally not what these provisions prohibit. But many operators exclude Michigan entirely in their own terms rather than offer a GC-only mode.
