UptownSweeps: qualified funds protection and a different support domain
The May 20, 2026 general terms, inspected September 8, say UptownSweeps holds funds equivalent to unredeemed prizes in a separate business account. The same provision expressly declines to guarantee that those funds will be available to players if the business becomes insolvent.
A separate account is not an independently verified guarantee
That is the operator’s description of its arrangement, not our audit of the bank account or its protection. It does not establish deposit insurance or a completed prize payment. We have no first-hand UptownSweeps redemption with which to assess the arrangement in practice.
The support label and destination differ
On the FAQ page, the visible support label uses the uptownsweeps.com domain, while its mail link opens an address at Chinesegame.us. We inspected the link destination without sending a message. The mismatch does not establish who controls that mailbox, but a player should confirm the intended recipient through the site’s authenticated support before sending private documents.
The terms give a particularly relevant boundary in section 8.23: payment details must be updated through the authenticated redemption interface. They say staff cannot change bank details and will not request them by email, phone, or text. An email destination, even if later confirmed as legitimate, is therefore not the documented route for changing the receiving bank account.
