Lucky Buddha: operator-reported launch and game-dependent playthrough
Lucky Buddha answered our historical research request on September 2, 2026. The support team identified March 1, 2026 as the first public day of its U.S. sweepstakes casino, including Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin gameplay.
The launch date is an attributed operator statement
The reply said there had been no earlier public beta, app-only launch, predecessor, rebrand, or migration. It cited internal records as the basis, without supplying those records or a contemporaneous public announcement. We therefore describe March 1 as the date the operator reported, rather than a launch we independently observed.
Our September 1 request received an automated acknowledgment after 15 seconds. The substantive answer arrived the following day. Those are separate response stages, and neither constitutes a prize-processing test.
One playthrough does not mean every game counts equally
The July 27 sweepstakes rules, version 1.3.0, give ordinary slots 100% contribution, table games and video poker 10%, and specified arcade or instant-game categories 0%. They also list exceptions and make the lowest applicable contribution control for mixed categories.
At 10% contribution, ten SC of qualifying table-game wagers produce one SC of playthrough credit. A zero-contribution title produces none. The lobby’s applicable classification must therefore be checked alongside the nominal 1x requirement.
Completing the counter does not settle approval
The same rules reserve additional review of minimal, token, or conversion-focused play even after the counter is satisfied. Their typical one-to-three-business-day processing period begins after approval, and they permit only one active redemption request at a time.
We have not tested those reviews or timed a Lucky Buddha redemption.
