What the law says

Knowingly advancing or profiting from unlawful gambling or lottery activity at scale (e.g., operating a gambling device with $100+/day in play, or receiving $100+/day in lottery plays) is promoting gambling in the first degree, a class E felony (§ 572.030.2); lesser conduct is covered by second-degree promoting (§ 572.040, misdemeanor). Player-side gambling is a misdemeanor (§ 572.020).
